Varden Technologies is actively seeking candidates to fill Consultant and Senior Consultant positions. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are interested in being responsible and accountable for getting a job done right. On almost every project there are a few key people who make a project successful - those are the people that we are looking for.

All candidates must have both technical and business experience in the financial services industry. We are particularly interested in individuals who have worked for investment management firms in a technical capacity or have worked for software vendors who develop products for the investment community. The following list provides a guideline to the types of skills that we are seeking:

• Practical relational database expertise (Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL Server)
• Development expertise in ASP, Visual Basic, Java, HTML, C, C#, CGI, Perl, or other development disciplines
• Proven track record of outstanding performance in the financial services industry working in a software development or implementation capacity.
• Advanced Degree, CFA, or additional technical training such as Sun or Microsoft Certification.
• Particular expertise with emerging or industry leading applications in the portfolio mgmt, trading, compliance, performance, or accounting arenas.
